Alessandro Viola ‘Sinphonia di Bianco’ Grillo 2020

100% Grillo from Alessandro's top sites (Santa Ninfa/Pietrarenosa) in the Alcamese hinterland above the idyllic Gulf of Castellammare on western Sicily's northern coast. The grapes are harvested slightly over-ripe and see a 3 day maceration prior to pressing and élevage in old chestnut botti. Unfined, unfiltered, minimal SO2 at bottling.

Gut Oggau ‘Mechthild’ 2019

Mechthild is known by Eduard and Stephanie as the "mother of the Gut Oggau vineyard". It is made from 100% Grüner Veltliner, coming from 60-year-old vines (the oldest among Gut Oggau's holdings) planted on lime and slate soils. It is fermented on skins before being pressed in a 200-year-old wooden press. It is matured for two years in neutral oak barrels on full lees and then bottled unfined and unfiltered with no sulphur additions.

Maria & Sepp Muster ‘Erde’ 2018

Sepp & Maria Muster were inspired by their encounters with biodynamic agriculture in India and Australia. In 2000 when they took over Sepp's father’s vineyard they knew there was only one way to farm these vines, so they became biodynamically certified in 2003 and as they say the rest is history. Hand harvested Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc that are left on skins for one year before being left in large neutral oak for around 18 months. Ripe fruit aromas, herbal underlays, and a firm earthiness. Some gentle reduction is a calling card of the producer so take your time and/or give it some air to make the most of it!
